Product: HP Spectre x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to get a larger SSD for my laptop and I read over the manual and it mentions both PCIe SSD and SATA SSD.  The only thing I know for sure if it has to for the m.2 form factor, besides that I do not know if it can run both. 

 

Has anyone upgraded their SSD?

It has  256 GB mSATA SSD now, not M.2 SATA nor M.2 NVMe SSD. Sounds like you can only use M.2 SATA SSD, not NVMe using following options

 

           https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/spectre-x360-15-ap012dx

Thanks for the quick reply. I read that as well but when you search for specs on the ssd x300 m.2 2280 which comes from the OEM it states that it is a m.2 SATA 3 SSD. That is where I get confused because if it is a m.2 SATA it should not be able to fit into a mSATA slot. 

I couldn't attach a pic of the SSD so here is a Google Drive Link .
