 Product name: dv7t-7000 Notebook, Current Processor is Intel i73820QM @ 2.70. Interested in upgrading, if possible.

It appears you are already at the top of the mark.

Thanks a lot. I've upgraded this notebook in several ways, so far:

Replaced Hard drive with  1TB SSD,

Upgraded RAM to 16GB, and 

Replaced the wireless card with a dual band Intel 7260AC.

I thought I might complete the overhaul by upgrading the microprocessor but, if that the best the Notebook can handle, so be it.

 I agree that you did all the upgrades you could, since you replaced the wifi card.

 

Most folks didn't know about the secret that the 7260 AC works in that model series.
