I would like to replace my currend 64GB Drive with a bigger SSD.  I worry that if I buy a 512GB SSD and when I replace it in this laptop that it might not be compatible or something.

Unfortunately, your notebook's 64 GB eMMC flash storage drive cannot be upgraded.

You can't add a drive either, and even if you could the notebook will only boot from the 64 GB drive.

I use a 64 GB SD card to store my files on in my HP notebook that has one of those drives.

Here's an eBay listing of the motherboard your PC comes with.

Notebooks that come with Intel core processors have an M.2 SSD slot that is missing on the above motherboard and would have been located on the bottom left side of the motherboard picture.
