HP-14-cf0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased a HP-14-cf0013dx. I learned that I could upgrade the RAM to 16GB and even install a NVME SSD drive.

I would like to know if there's any backlit keyboard that could be swapped out? I imagine I would also need some cable to somehow "activate" the backlit feature even if I somehow swapped a keyboard.

This is the only downfall to this laptop that I have found so far. I plan on using this for studying, I am learning programming and linux and will probably be working late at night so a backlit keyboard is almost a must.

Only issue is that most of the laptops in this same price range do not offer the option.

Thank you.

@ShatterDay

Machines from cf0000 to cf1999 do have option with backlit keyboard. Model HP-14-cf0013dx does not. Yo have to search the right one on your country/region and the price won't be the same.

Regards.
