Does anyone know if the HP Envy x360 - 13-ar0030au is compatible with an NVMe m.2 SSD?
I'd like to upgrade to a larger capacity and am looking at the Samsung 970 EVO plus m.2 nvme but I suspect NVMe drives won't fit this notebook.
The product number is 6YD59PA.
Many thanks in advance

It has 128 GB M.2 SSD (SATA) now. M.2 2280 SSD drives will fit but to be sure is to be sure please use SATA M.2 SSD drive such as
Or similar from reputable vendors.

Thanks for your reply.
I ended up putting in a Samsung 970 EVO plus m.2 NVMe and it works fine. CrystalDisk shows it running over NVMe interface PCIe 3.0x4 with read and write speeds far above the SATA cap, much greater than the SATA SSD that came with the notebook.
The physical interface on the motherboard has one M key notch in it so I guess it can fit both SATA and NVMe SSDs and supports NVMe after all.
