HP 15-da0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello there,

In terms of hardware and upgrading, I don't know too much. My friend showed me how to fit an SSD to my HP 15-da0xxx after it was performing poorly.

Everything seems to be fitted well, however, I am not sure if I'm currently booting onto the SSD or HDD.

I've not had much luck in changing any configurations in the System BIOS, as I don't see an "SSD" option.

When heading to Start Menu > Power Options > Shift+Restart and loading onto a menu, I've clicked Use A Device but the only options are:

"Internal Hard Disk or Solid State Disk"

"EFI USB Device"

"EFI DVD/CDROM"

I've clicked the first one as it sounds most relevant, but after the BIOS had no SSD-related option, I'm not feeling confident in knowing if I'm actually using the SSD now. Furthermore, I'm not sure how to tell.

Any help appreciated,

Thank you.
