Pavilion 15-1b157nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After installing the W10 creators update, I am getting the following error:

AccelerometerSt.exe

The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the program may fix the problem.

I checked on the HP website, and this is related to the HP 3D drive guard.  I downloaded and installed the latest version and after reboot am still getting this error.

Please help.

Thank you

Thank you for your reply.  If you reread my original post, you can see that I have restarted the machine.  Several times in fact.  It still comes up with the same error.

Thank you.  That resolved it.  Not sure why I could not find that version of the HP 3d Drive guard last night when I searched for it, but now it is coming up error free.
