Hello Community, I am NOT new here, although recognized by the system as a newby. I got many helpful information in the past here. But I have new problems with my old but good notebook. When trying to change the keyboard we found the bridge where the connector cable is mounted partly broken. The old keyboard was oartly fixed with tape! Is this part somehow available from hp or others although the notebook is from 2013? And the old DVD ROM (burner) was changed against a new one, but is not recognized by the system. The installed driver is a Mat**bleep**a 8D-CMB UJ141AF from 2006 ! and is told to be the newest one. The device manager is telling all works fine, but it doesn't. It could be, that the correct driver (from hp?) was once in the past changed to a useless one by windows during an update. I had such a problem in the past twice, and it was always fixed here with help of the forum. Thanks in advance for any help, regards Joe.
