HP Laptop 14-bp0xx
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello i have a problem with my laptop keyobard, it is suddenly mistyping when i press some key like:

q become qe (pressinq e key also result in the same output)

a become ad (pressinq d key also result in the same output)

z become zc (pressinq c key also result in the same output)

1 become 13 (pressinq 3 key also result in the same output)

capslock become capslock+f1 (pressinq f1 key also result in the same output)

i thought it was a driver/OS related problem, so i check on two different OS (windows 7 and 10) and both of them having the same issue.

Welcome to HP Support Community

I suggest you run a Keyboard Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Keyboard

Keep me posted and have a wonderful day 😊
