HP Pavilion 13-s122ds
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello, I need urgent help. My keyboard on HP Pavilion 13-2122ds stopped working, due to a small spill of oil. Where can I buy a keyboard replacement? Do I  have to find a keyboard precisely for this model, or is there an alternative version of keyborad I can find on the market?

Thanks so much!

I found a $40 Buy it Now but only ships to US. Maybe have it shipped to your sister who can ship it to you. US shipping only $3. If you can wait out the auction it is as low as $26.50 which would be a great deal.

Next lowest $47 and ships to most of Europe (at a cost):

The keyboard is spared (set up as a replacement part in HP's system) together with the whole top cover.

Service Manual

See page 15. We would need to know the country and language you need. The part purchased through HP is going to be expensive. Sources like ebay will cost less. I took a quick look on eBay and the part is around $60US for keyboard and top cover.  $89 from HP:

Again, post back with the part number you need and the country where you live and we can help you get a new keyboard.

For example this is the US Part number:

For use in the United States 809829-001

Before you go into this you want to be sure there is no damage to any other part of the laptop.

Thanks so much for the help. The notebook was bought in the States and it was a present from my sister. I live in Europe, but we can still order that part in the USA.

If you can find anything on ebay it would be of great help. Cost through HP is quite high 😞

Thanks again,

Aida
