HP Omen 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Omen, 17 inch. The machine is just over two years old.

Laptop battery died in March or so- changed it out when I had the time and money, sadly this was about 3 months later in June. This solved the charging issue but only for about two weeks- the battery still held a charge but would not gain a charge. I changed the battery in early December for a second time, but when this did not work there was a recommendation to get a new charger. This did not solve the issue either- how do I further trouble shoot to help identify the problem? I am guessing has become  a hardware issue, just not sure how to identify it

How to improve the life of a Battery:

2. Please keep the Screen Brightness at the lower level

3. Please turn OFF Wi-Fi Connection when not in use

This is an ongoing issue with my omen. It happens after the windows updates, and sometimes if impacts the keyboard backlights as well. In all cases but this last one it is resolved in a few weeks. This last time with me it has gone on for months. HP says it is not their issue and windows spent 3 hours on my laptop then stated it was an HP issue. I have tried all the steps suggested and nothing has made my laptop charge for more than a few seconds and those few seconds of charging are when my computer is glitching and looks like it is going to crash. I have no advice, just wanted you to know that I am in the same boat. It is a sad scenario when the omen is not a cheap machine.

 @omenisbroken,

We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.

I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
