Laptop Battery will not calibrate

HP Notebook 15s-fq1003na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I run the battery management as it alerted me to the fact that the battery on my HP Notebook 15s-fq1003na needed calibrating...despite following the instructions to charge at 100% for 3hours and re-run the battery check, it still does not calibrate. Another HP message suggests the battery may need replacing and as it's still under warrantee, i wanted to do that but the bot is worse than useless and gave me a telephone number for Photography London and the answer machine is full...probably all those HP customers!!

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.


Are you seeing this message in the HP support assistant? If yes, then I recommend you uninstall HP support assistant and then download and install it from the below link.


Follow the steps in the below article to calibrate the battery.
