Hello, I would appreciate assistance in connecting my HP all-in-one as a display for my Dell computer. The HDMI cable did not work.

Hi:

 

According to the product specifications for your PC, the HDMI port is output only which means you cannot use your PC's monitor as a display for another device.

That's what I thought as well. Is there any device or gadget to switch the input/output? Probably not,ist?!

There aren't any devices that I know of that will allow you to use your PC's display as a monitor.
