Laptop Hinges Broken

HP Recommended

My hinges are broken like all the others I read.  I like HP but will not buy another without these hinges being re-engineered. Did HP fix this issue on the new laptops.

I've read all the responses on hinges. It's clearly a manufacturer defect.  I am now out of warranty and have no intention of taking the laptop apart and put new defective hinges in.   I basically need to know what models of HP 2 in 1 now have re-engineered hinges, if any.

For the record of those reading this hinge thread,  I have not received any further communication on this from HP.

I would hope HP would address this.  At least they should re-engineer these hinges and let us know that has occurred.  Otherwise, I cannot buy them going forward.
