When I plugin the charger to my laptop it immediately goes to 100% even though it was at a low battery and then when I turn the laptop on it shows 100% and if remove the charging cable it shuts down suddenly.

I suggest that you use the HP PC Diagnostics utility UEFI and run the battery test.
power on and immediately tap the F2 key. Choose Component tests and then battery test.
I suspect the battery is failed or failing, but will wait for the test result from you.
I see that your laptop is from the 2022 market year and that would mean that the battery has likely been used for more than one year.
Batteries are warrantied for one year.

Bought the laptop or the battery two months ago?
Would you mind running the Windows Battery report? I described how to do that in the article at the link below.

That would indicate that there is a likely problem with the battery.
What does the Windows Battery-report show?

Based on the image that I can see of a partial battery report, the battery isn't this issue.
It is either the system (mother) board or the power adapter.
It would have been helpful if you had followed the tutorial description that I provided in the know;ledge base article and provided the complete report.
You should have read the article. I explained what the report means.
