Microsoft Windows 11

Hello.

My laptop doesn't switch on and even the charfing light doesn't come on when I put the charger on.

I do the hard reset but also doesn't work. I then have to open the back panel, disconnect the battery, do n hard reset and then it will start again.

The first time it happened was when the laptop went into sleep mode, but now it happened again after i shut it down.

What could be the cause?

Hi @Rick24816,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it must be to deal with a laptop that won’t power on properly, especially when you have to open the back panel just to get it working again.

If you have performed all the steps from this document and if the pc still does not turn on, this could be a hardware issue.

Keep me posted .
