My laptop was working fine until one day the fan making noise and it got off.then afterward whenever i switch on the laptop the power light blinks and fan rotates and it gets switch of it repeats the same again and again automatically but not display.

Then i removed the ram from both the slots cleaned them re inserted the ram 1 in one slot it works .both the ram work fine individually but when put together in pc the problem starts.laptop does not start.

I have one 1 gb ram and other 2 gb ram factory fitted.

  • Have you tried with different ram?
  • Have you tried switching or swapping the ram slots?

This sounds like hardware related issue with the computer as it's not powering on with both the ram, this could be even faulty ram or slot.
