Laptop only works when plugged into charger

HP Pavillion 15 notebook
I really need help because my laptop won't work unless I plug into charger, it can charge up to hours but as soon as I take it off the laptop shuts. What's the problem?? Please help!

Laptop only works when plugged into charger

Hi,


It means that your laptop battery has reached the end of life.

You can test battery from HP support assistant software.

Let me know the results, cell voltages, cycle count, capacity etc.
