About 3 months ago, my laptop has undergone a motherboard replacement and since then I've had complaints of cpu overheating. So I contacted the service center who brought the replacement to check the unit and from their testing it was found that at an ambient temperature of 34.6C the laptop outer body temperature was below 37C, by which they concluded that the unit is working as per its design.
Now I'm not sure if 101C from the onboard sensor at this low cpu usage is normal. And at heavy usage I was seeing huge dip in cpu clock speeds (it stays at around 700-900mhz), and therefore a dip in performance. Any suggestions as for what to do? Or is it normal as per the service center's analysis?
