Hi,

Your laptop is a few years old. I usually replace the batteries in my notebooks every 18-24 months as I will really notice the deterioration of the battery.

So, I believe, you should just replace the battery.

Hope it helps,

Even in case that battery is 2year old now, it should shut normally with all the shutdown warnings.

But in my case it directly shuts down without at warnings exactly when charge is at 45% . And won't restart until I plug in adapter.

And there is one more issue that laptop stops taking charge at interval of 2-3 minutes and get back to normal on its own or by re-pluging adapter.
