HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have purchased HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx laptop in may 2017 and always used it very delicately. Today when I opened the laptop, from left small pieces of plastic coming out and the screen slippted in two from left  side and after sometime a screw came out from left side.

After googling for sometime, I found that their has been lot of reports of the same  problem for this laptop and one law suit is also filled.

I would like to get it fixed . Can you help?

Hi,

I went and checked with the service provider mentioned on your website ie ubreakifix. They have quoted 235$ to fix it. They told the plastic that holds the screw or the hinge is broken and they need to replace the top cover of the screen.

but, my point is that I gently opened the screen yesterday and the hinge broke. What kind of design it is?

Also, I wanted to know if HP are recalling this model for this design flaw? I am not ready to pay 235$ for fixing this.
