OMEN by HP 17-cb0002ca

The left fan on this laptop is failing for the second time since I have owned it. The first time it was under warranty and I was able to send it in to be replaced. I have managed to discover that the whole thermal system is one piece, but I am trying to learn how the fan itself is replaced and a good place to purchase the fan from.

Well here's your Service Manual- http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06367528.pdf  It lists several different heat sink assemblies, but no fan number.

I have seen on other models that if you have the heat sink part number, a general google search will usually lead to something like "left fan for HP heat sink part # xxxx" or maybe a pair of fans for the heat sink.

You'll need to see what part number your heat sink is then go from there.
