I contacted HP and I am under warranty, my display screen has marks on it from a liquid spill and I don't know about the inside. Although I am supposed to be covered (below) the support person I talked to said I was NOT and that I would be charged as the support team outright refuse to look at these? Should I make a complaint and call HP support again or am I in the wrong here?
Equipment (i.e. laptops/ notebooks) covered under this Accidental Damage Protection from any physical loss or damage during the Period of Coverage caused by: • accidental damage to the Equipment due to unintentional drop or collision • power surge – Physical damage caused by any power surge • accidental liquid spill in/on Equipment subject to the terms and exclusions, mentioned herein below.
