Hello!

No problems here, I wasn't able to do any configuration on my laptop before I got it. Is there any documentation on what's inside? I would like to know my options for upgrading the ram to 16gb, also what type of ssd drive is installed, and my options for adding more internal storage. Thank you for any information you can provide as a search of the hp site for my model number yields no results.

It has 8 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) and you can add SAME 8GB to slot 2.

 

Because HP uses few manufacturers for RAM and HDD/SSD depending on available stocks therefore it is much better to wait for machine to know its RAM then use the SAME

 

Or you can use

Thank you for your reply, it’s looks like adding the additional 8gb of ram will take care of that. As far as storage, do you know if I can add a hard drive to this model, and keep the ssd for Windows and updates?
