Hello,

 

I have a problem with my new HP Envy x360 laptop.

 

I have the feeling it's running pretty hot, very quickly and as a consequence the fan is almost always on, even with the "Quiet mode" in the Command Center.

Before that I had pretty much the same laptop but with a Ryzen 7 5700U and it was super quiet. The fan were running for like 10s here and there and super quietly on this one.

In comparison the new laptop with the Ryzen 7 5825U is super loud. Fan always on, with like a whistling fan noise.  I swear, I'm becoming crazy with this whistling fan noise almost permanently.

 

 

What can I do ?

This CPU is badly designed and there is nothing I can do ?

Lack of thermal past ? (It's a brand new laptop)

Problem with the temp sensors ?
