Is my laptop model HP 14-dq1037wm compatible with NVMe PCIe SSD?

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06403450

It has a M.2 slot that supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.

See chapter 1 for the supported drive types.

Is it because the HP 14-dq1037wm supports PCIe mean that it is compatible with NVME as well? I tried to ask the HP costumer service and he/she said that the HP 14-dq1037wm is not supported with NVME but only supports PCIe.

Hi:

PCIe and NVMe are used interchangeably.

Even the Crucial memory SSD report for your specific model notebooks shows that NVMe M.2 SSD's are supported...
