Hi everyone.
I'm planning to have an upgrade since my laptop is getting slow and I just wanna ask what specific M.2 ssd should I buy for my HP 15-ak032tx laptop, is it a M.2 sata or a PCIe? Also, I noticed the area where the M.2 ssd was placed has only one divider (I'm not sure), if so then could it be possible to use 2 teeth(2 slots) M.2 instead of a 3 teeth(3 slots) M.2?
Thanks 🙂

Hi,
Your notebook supports only M2 SATA3 SSDs. So, not M2 PCIe NVMe SSD
A good choice would be the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar. You can get of your desired capacity. There is no limit to capacity.
On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive

Hope it helps,
David
