Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC

 

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

 

According to the manual, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports both NVMe and SATA SSD's.

 

NVMe SSD's have faster read/write speeds than SATA SSD's have.
