I need to add an M2 SSD to my HP Pavilion - 15-cc134tx. I have read many articles and confused if it would support or not, Planning to buy WD BLUE SN550 500GB. Please suggest

Hi:

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot does support NVMe SSD's so the BLUE SN550 should work.

 

See chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual for the supported drive types...

 

Solid-state drive:
For use only on computer models with model numbers 15-cc1xx 
● 512-GB, 2280, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe)
solid-state drive
● 256-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive
