Can i upgrade my notebook memory ram ?

Hi:

 

Your notebook has a Pentium processor, and I believe those models only have one memory slot.

 

The service manual shows all models have two memory slots, and the maximum memory can be 2 x 8 GB.

 

But I think you would need to remove the 2 GB memory module and install an 8 GB memory module.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook. 

 

You may want to open it up and confirm how many memory slots there are before buying memory to upgrade.

 

See chapter 4 for the memory removal and replacement procedure.

If your notebook only has one memory slot, then the max is 8 GB.

 

The Intel specs for your notebook's processor indicate that 8 GB is the maximum memory size supported.
