Hey guys,Can i use a higher capacity m.2 drive in my hp 245 g7 than the one listed in the service manual(Upto 256 GB),i'm thinking of upgrading to a 500 GB m.2 drive and thanks in advance

Hi:

 

The drive capacities listed in the manual are just what HP offered in the model series.

 

If you want to install a 500 GB or 1 TB drive, that should be fine.

 

See my other post as to which type you can buy based on the processor your notebook has...SATA or NVMe.
