May I install an 120 GB SSD in an HP EliteBook 2530p?

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

May I install an 120 GB SSD (Solid State Drive) in an HP EliteBook 2530p?

According to http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2008/mobility/ds_elitebook2530p.pdf, the maximum SSD capacity should be 80 GB, but I'd like to install one of 120 GB,

Thanks!

Ricardo

Yes, you can.   You can install even larger if you wish.

Hi,

Please check your machine what is the HDD now. It may have 80/120 GB 5400 rpm1.8-inch SATA hard drive then you have to buy the right size (1.8") for SSD because I can only find 2.5" SSD's. And yes, you can use 120GB or larger (capacity).

Regards.
