Your machine has Single HDD configurations option with 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA. You can upgrade to 1TB or more using 2.5" SSD. You may be able to add M.2 SATA SSD but you would need following parts
- Solid-state drive board part # 856210-001
- Solid-state drive cable part # 856353-001

There are. It can use a 2.5 inch SATA SSD in place of the current 500 gig SATA hard drive.
Pages 37-41 show how to replace.
Above would be an option for an SSD but just about any such SSD would work.
