I have a HP ENVY m6 Notebook and wondering what the capacity of ram is for this laptop. It currently has 6 gb of ddr3l sdram according to the specs. Want to upgrade due to slow operation.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have  6GB DDR3L SDRAM (2 DIMM) drive installed on the PC.

And, your computer supports 16 GB max memory. Click here:  tohttp://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04691689 know more about storage and ram (refer to 1 Product description)
