After 13 months of use, got blue screen in my hp laptop . I did memory test and got memory failure id 6BVN7K-94A9PS-XD7W21-40D103

Hard disk test passed.

Laptop- HP Notebook - 15-bs145tu

Questions-

1. Is this tells me my RAM is bad or hard disk is gone bad? I mean should i change my RAM or my hard disk?

2. Any solution for this problem from hp ?

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Memory Module 1 Failure, indicates that you need to replace the memory module in slot one of your notebook.

 

The hard drive should be fine and if you replace the memory module, the notebook should work fine again.
