Thank you for your answer. I think my question may have been unclear.

I'm aware of what a BIOS does. I have already successfully upgraded my laptop to F.24.

 

You said:

"HP will provide bios updates for the drive. "

and

"It's only recommended to do this when bios updates are rolled out to your system, please use windows update to check the latest system updates and many BIOS updates are released that support new hardware. "

 

So I'm asking if the F.24 version of the BIOS supports the OPAL unlock from my original question.
