Product: Compaq CQ10-500SA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I can install 2GB rather than the original 1GB.

 

How do I open the case and install this? (This model does not have a memory module compartment on the bottom)

See pages 40-52. The whole back cover comes off and there is one RAM slot in the corner under a shield.
