My laptop has only one memory slot so can I upgrade it to 2Gb. Part No for this model of laptop is DG705A#UUZ

Thanks for that. I would not have looked under the keyboard and yes you are right, it does not mention that in the manual.

 

The unit was given to me so I intend to give to my daughter who is in her 40,s to do some of the stuff that she does the hard way.

Hi,

 

You've got a very good machine specially after 12 years or so you still want to upgrade it. I loved it - I did have two nx machines that why I'm here.

 

It has 2 slots and supports 2GB (1 each slot). The first slot is under the keyboard and the second slot is from the back/bottom of the machine.

 

The following manuals/guides shows you part number (you have to search very hard to get) and how to replace RAM
