There are two other "base system device" instances but have identical hardware id, except for the &DEV_238n part.When I follow the link given, I get a note that I'm forbidden to go there.

You need the exe file to install the JMicron SD card reader.
This driver should install all instances of that device.
That link appears to be the same as the one that failed before.
This time though, I downloaded and installed the driver without error.
It did -- they now show under "Memory technology devices"
