I recently purchased an EliteBook but changed the operating system (Windows 10, managed server), and both the Base System Device and Multimedia Audio Controller are not working - presumably because the drivers were wiped. Please can you help?

Hi:

For the first one you need this driver...

This package provides the Intel Thunderbolt 3 Driver for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99001-99500/sp99294.exe

The second one is installed by the audio driver.

This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99501-100000/sp99680.exe

Hopefully you will not have an issue with the audio device not installing.

I tried to help another forum member with a similar model and the device would not install for love or money...even trying to manually install the driver.

The driver file is located in the IntelHDASST folder, IntcAudioBus setup information file.

Intel(R) Corporation = Intel, NTAMD64.10.0...16299
[Intel.NTAMD64.10.0...16299]
%IntcAudioBus.DeviceDesc% = IntcAudioBus, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DC8&CC_0401

Thanks Paul, I'm downloading these drivers now and will give them a go.

I'm also missing the following unknown devices:

ACPI\INT3400\2&DABA3FF&1

ACPI\INT3403\SEN1

ACPI\INT3403\SEN2

ACPI\HPQ6001\2&daba3ff&1

USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\5&2B6FF5D5&0&10

ACPI\INT33D5\2&DABA3FF&1

USB\VID_06CB&PID_00B7\8719848c47bc

ACPI\HPIC000C\2&daba3ff&1

Do you know where I can find drivers for these?

Many thanks!

You're very welcome.

For most of those devices, I would install all of the drivers listed under the chipset driver file section and see what gets installed.

For the ACPI\HPIC000C device you need this driver...

This package provides HP Application Driver for the ACPI device HPIC000C on supported HP computer models that are running a supported operating system.
