Pavilion 15-cw1000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, is it possible to upgrade monitor and storage on Pavilion 15 cw-1000? I'll explain better:

In the mantainance guide I've noticed that there are some versions of my Notebook that have IPS panels (mine is TN, and is terrible). Is it possible to swap display? Will it be compatible? Resolution is exactly the same, same goes with 30 pin connector.

Other question: where do I find the bracket in order to mount HDD bracket (I only have SSD m.2, no HDD).

Thanks in advance,
Matt

@Mr_Matt Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to upgrade the storage and display.

I have checked the manual ( page number 2)

Dual storage Configuration.

128 GB, SATA, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm hard drive.

For the display, please conatct our phone support and check for the option. They will help you.

Or you can conatct the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
