Hi guys,
I am having issues with my current motherboard and am looking to upgrade if possible. I have sourced my current motherboard replacement but have found another which comes from the HP Pavillion 15-aw053nr. Upon inspection of pics, the mobo's seem identical in form with 1 having a few extra chips, capacitors and what looks like a seperate GPU.
My current motherboard model no is: DAG55AMB6E0 with a dual core A9-9410 Processor and Radeon R5 integrated graphics.
The other is: DAG54AMB6D0 with a quad core A12-9700P with Radeon R7 graphics.
Any advice or considerations I should make if it is compatible would be appreciated. 1st question is do I need a different cooling solution for the upgrade or is the GPU passively cooled?

Oh no ! I know why. It is an old library, it uses http: (not https:) that why you could not find it. I don't know why HP has not moved it to new library. I extracted few pages for you on attached file

You should be able to use system boards from the list on page 48 of the following manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05122652.pdf
All machines use same fan part # 856359-001
Regards.

You are an absolute legend! The motherbard is compatible. I learned a new thing about the http vs https as well. Explains a few things about not finding pages rfom links. Can't thank you enough for your help. Take care.
