Motherboard failure 3 months after warranty expires

I bought this laptop in 2019 Dec.

Its warranty ended in 2020 Dec.  The motherboard failed this month in March. How does this happen? Will you give me a replacement motherboard? There's no explanation why it should have died. It's currently at Microcenter Service shop. Help fix this situation. I was told a replacement motherboard is 700+ dollars. This is is ridiculous and unacceptable for something that is just over a year old!!!!!
