Motherboard replace

Hi @AReiser

Welcome to the HP Forums!

It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to replace the motherboard on your computer.

I’d love to help!

I recommend you to contact phone support to get the motherboard replaced on your computer. Alternately, you can also purchase the motherboard from HP part store.

Follow below steps to contact phone support.

Step 1. Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number

Refer to the below service manual (Page 106) of your computer for the supported motherboard for your computer.
