My HP Notebook 14-cm0009 piece surrounding my keyboard is slowly lifting up and falling apart

HP Recommended
HP Notebook - 14-cm0009au
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The piece on my HP Notebook 14cm-0009 surrounding my keyboard is slowly lifting up. It's on the left side of the laptop and every time I lift the screen to use my device, the top left corner of the piece connecting to my keyboard is lifting up, and is spreading to the right side of my laptop. I think I can lift the piece off as time passes, and I'm not sure what's happening.  It has been happening for the past month. I've had this laptop for two years-ish now.

@ddot777 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the HP Notebook 14-cm0009 piece surrounding my keyboard is slowly lifting up and falling apart.

In that case, I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
