Hi @Debshrutee,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Keyboard!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP Ryzen 3 laptop might be experiencing a hardware or software issue affecting both the keyboard and speakers. Here are some steps you can try before taking it in for repair:

Check for External Issues

  • If you recently spilled liquid on the keyboard, it might have caused damage.
  • Try connecting an external keyboard via USB. If it works, the issue is likely with the built-in keyboard.

Restart in Safe Mode

  1. Shut down the laptop completely.
  2. Turn it back on and press F8 or Shift + F8 repeatedly as it boots.
  3. If the keyboard works in Safe Mode, a software issue might be the cause.

Update Keyboard Drivers

  1. Right-click the Start Menu → Select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Keyboards → Right-click your keyboard → Click Update Driver.
  3. Restart the laptop and check if it works.

Check for Sticky Keys or Accessibility Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Ease of Access → Keyboard.
  2. Turn off Sticky Keys, Filter Keys, and Toggle Keys if they are enabled.

Run Windows Troubleshooter

  1. Open Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot.
  2. Select Keyboard and click Run the troubleshooter.

Reset BIOS Settings

  1. Turn off your laptop.
  2. Power it on and immediately press F10 to enter BIOS.
  3. Select Restore Defaults → Save and Exit.

If the continuous sound from the speaker persists, it might indicate hardware failure.

Let me know if any of these steps help! 😊
