My HP Spectre x2 detachable not starting

Product Name: HP spectre x2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have had my Spectre x2 for 6 months. In that time it has turned itself off and won't restart x 3 or 4 times; won't start when I first turn it on after being shut down, twice. It has taken from 3 to 30 minutes of trying to turn it on before it will start. When it starts (anytime) the light on the caps lock button flashes; when it won't start no light flashes-nothing happens. I don't believe this is a power issue. I read on another forum that some of these models have needed to be returned to HP for repair as there is a hardware fault.
