Can I add memory to this device?

Unfortunately, that would not be possible.
Your notebook comes with a 64 GB eMMC drive that is not upgradable.
Your only option for additional storage would be to insert an SD card in the available SD card reader and use that to store files and pictures on.

Thanks - this is helpful. Follow up question - the only programs I downloaded on this computer are Chrome and iTunes. All my other files are on flash drives. Would the SD card be helpful under these circumstances? Thanks again.

I don't think that reinstalling W10 is going to give you that much space, but if want to do that, I recommend that you clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Boot from the installation media and when you get to the part that asks, 'where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next and W10 will install.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software you want from the support page.

Using that method to reinstall Windows will give you the maximum amount of storage space available.
