Recently, my laptop shut off while it was at 100% and then wouldn't turn on until I plugged in the charger. Once it turned on this is the image it displayed:

So I checked the HP community section for help and I found a post on Battery report. My battery report came out saying this:

I don't understand how the design capacity and the full charge capacity are at -1mWh. Can anyone please explain this to me and also guide me on next steps which I think are probably to replace the battery.

HP Recommended

100% battery storage after two years or more is not the same as 100% when new or in the first year. Your laptop is from around the 2018 year market.

 

204 charge/discharge cycles tells me you or someone else have been using the laptop for quite some time.

 

I recommend replacing the battery with a new one.

"I don't understand how the design capacity and the full charge capacity are at -1mWh." That only happens when a battery has been allowed to drop to a completely flat state.
