I recently bought a replacement battery for my laptop online because the old one is swollen already and hp support assistany prompt me to replace it. I then replace it following the instruction on youtube on how to replace battery cafefully. After replacing, i turned on my laptop it said on battery status "no battery" and when i unpluged the charger the laptop dies. It seems the battery is not charging or its not detecting it at all.
I've tried so many solutions already like updating bios, uninstaling battery on device manager, hard resetting by holding the power button for a minute and nothing seems to work.
Please help.

HP cannot guarantee the functionality or performance of 3rd party hardwares or softwares
This seems to be a problem with the 3rd party Battery
You could try getting in touch with HP Sales Team in your Region and check if they have replacement batteries
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

@Mrtnjspr I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:
Let's perform a power reset as per HP standards:
- Ensure your laptop is OFF.
- Unplug all the external devices (If any).
- Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.
- Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
- Connect the power supply (power adapter).
- Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
- Then put your battery back.
for more details: Click here
Reinstall Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager:
1) In the search box, type and open “Device Manager”.
2) Expand “Batteries”.
3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
4) Click on “Uninstall”.
5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver
6) Shutdown the computer.
7) Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in. (Skip this step if you have a non removable battery)
8 - When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.
9) Go to Device Manager.
10) Expand Batteries.
11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"
Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.
If the issue persists, run a battery and adapter test using the steps mentioned in this link: Click here

I did everything and nothing seems to work. I also did the test on HP PC Hardware Diagnostic and it failed. Here's the failure ID: 9SHHXV-8R6A6K-MFPURG-C0BF13 and the product ID: 2CJ33EA#ABV
I might have bought a non original HP battery does this affect my problem? I'm having trouble buying some because of the pandemic and my warranty expired already last 2018. The hp product store does not support my country, the philippines. That's why i bought it online with reasonable price for about 60 dollars.
